MY STORY
A life of leadership.
A voice in two languages.
I’m Hesham Al-Emadi, a Bahrain-based entrepreneur and writer with more than 20 years of leadership experience.
I currently serve as Founder & CEO of Baahij Digital Entertainment, a Bahrain-based business working across digital storytelling, manga, gaming, and esports.
Baahij brings together three ventures: MangaOasis, a digital reading and publishing platform for manga and webtoons; Mena Gaming, focused on gaming and esports tournaments, sponsorships, and partnerships; and All Things Arab. Through this work, I bring my experience in leadership together with my interest in storytelling, creative communities, and digital entertainment in the region.
My career spans the public and private sectors, including aviation. Alongside that professional journey, I hold an MBA and associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, with qualifications in human resources practice and public sector leadership.
Writing is another part of my story. My publications include the fantasy novel The Savior’s Threshold — The Chronicles of Dourren: Book One, published in 2010. I also contributed as co-author to بوصلة النجاح: أكثر من ١٠٠ نصيحة للشباب في العمل والحياة, published in 2026, offering advice to young people on work and life.
I write in Arabic and English, and share reflections on leadership, teamwork, and the creative economy.
